The WPA1 is an SPVA claim form that seeks carte blanche consent for the MoD rather than consent for the things that the SPVA need to do. The MoD abuse that consent to interfere in the assessment and determination of claims being undertaken by the SPVA and undermine the authority invested in SPVA, which in turn makes it functionally unfit for purpose. Evidence of this can be seen in the MoD's law breaking. https://veterans-uk.ws/topic/1/[show less]
The SPVA must ensure that all of their protracted cases, especially those being made more difficult by the wider MoD are referred to the VWS as a matter of course.

Private Carl Clowes, an IED victim who suffered 20 injuries and lost leg has been told to repay £48,000 over the next 23 years at £120/month after an alleged over-payment error. The video shows Prince Charles visiting him shortly after his amputation and I hope he would be horrified to learn of the position Carl's now in. meanwhile, our Govern-minted should check out some of the comments being made.
^^ This story illustrates a problem with the SPVA's processing accuracy which need much more verification and validation.
The DWP and SPVA occupy the same building. I believe the SPVA are not unlike the DWP from whence they came, in as much as they know what they ought to pay, but deliberately chance their luck by trying to get away with paying as little as possible, entitlement fraud in reverse if you like.
This merits a review of all claims that have not been appealed for money that may still be owed to the claimant.
Overpayments should not be recovered, but taken from the bonus fund to concentrate minds and underpayments should come out of that fund too.
^^ Now that's what I call a proper incentive scheme! [show less]
