The wills of soldiers killed in Afghanistan have been lost by the MoD. The Government's propaganda machine, the BBC is complicit in not running the story as a headline news item.
I wouldn't be surprised to find the MoD were selectively losing wills to avoid guaranteed Income Payments and Bereavement Grants for surviving partners.

Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth to cut wounded soldiers' awards http://www.timesonline...6727677.ece Confucius said, "to see right and not do it is cowardice". "MoD spies on heroes wounded in battle: Hundreds seeking compensation are filmed covertly to see if they're lying."
Anyone could reasonably suspect anyone else of anything and for a long time I have reasonably suspected the MoD of being in the business of limiting access to and payment of War Pensions and doing their damnedest to reduce those already in payment by whatever means the traitors within their policy units can devise. This is proof positive and another good reason why carte blanche consent to a secret process of assessment and determination needs to be replaced by a process of assessment and determination that is non-repuditory and fully transparent to the claimant, one which adheres to the Principals of the Data Protection Act that the MoD refuse to abide by, like all other laws as and when it suits them.
If the MoD want to cut their compensation bill then maybe they should try providing personnel with the equipment they need! Helicopters for example.
As there is a severe and growing terror threat and at least 400 suspects at large in Britain and insufficient resources to investigate them they have put us at risk, because over 9 years they could have cut that number by 284!
The SPVA told my MP they were standing by to help, but they never have and my recorded conversations can prove they are under orders to hang up when I call.

Anything sent by any means that they determine to be irrelevant (everything) is ignored. Even attempts at arbitration through my War Pension Chairman have failed to make headway.
You may not know you've been listed, because they use an indirect coded language. Once I picked up on it they confirmed my listing and an FOI request informed me that I was 206th on the list, hence VC206.
I'd encourage Veterans that have been listed to get in touch. [show less]

Complainants that keep poor records will be disadvantaged by the extraordinary length of time that's taken. They rely on your memory fading over time and not being able to recall the necessary facts needed to challenge their findings, which are those things that they want to find not what you want them to find. On the other hand, if you have kept good records, then you'll notice how they manipulate, misquote, misdirect and selectively overlook things so as to steer attention away from where you actually want it focused.
